President Obama on NSA spying: Congress has known about it and approved for years
I listened and EVERY AMERICAN should listen to Obama's remarks and then we should have a national debate.
Me? I think Obama is on the right side of the line here but know that many in the community will totally disagree.

Many new technologies are unpopular at first, or controversial, or have a "fashion cost" to them. I discuss why that all doesn't matter here.

Confirmed: The NSA is Spying on Millions of Americans
Al Gore tweeted that he is outraged.
I remember going to the White House back when it was occupied by George Bush and it was clear that the government was gonna do a lot of stuff to knock down terrorism that would infringe on our freedoms. This is more proof.
I feel mixed about this. I hate that our government is doing this but I do appreciate it when they stop attacks.
How does this make you feel?

Confirmed: The NSA is Spying on Millions of Americans
www.eff.org
Today, the Guardian newspaper confirmed what EFF (and many others) have long claimed: the NSA is conducting widespread, untargeted, domestic surveillance on millions of Americans. This revelation should end, once and for all, the government's long-discredited secrecy claims about its dragnet domesti...

Robert Scoble and Jaron Lanier on wearable technology
Here's a version everyone can watch of the BBC debate I had with Jaron Lanier: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-22770908 Google Glass and wearable computers.
Media training? If you get on with Jeremy Paxman (many PR people live in fear of him since he has an adversarial interview style) in a debate setting, here's some tips:
1. Get there early and try to have a fun conversation with him before getting on air. That's where Paxman feels you out. I let him try Glass and had a good laugh with him.
2. Make sure you take the other side's point of view (I know the downsides of technology).
3. Wait your turn. No one likes someone who talks over other people. On the other hand, you do need to be firm about getting in your points too. It's a tight balancing act.
4. Self deprecation works a LOT with Paxman. He respects that since he always gets people pitching him stuff and pushing a singular point of view.
Thanks Rory Cellan-Jones who had a separate film that led into this debate. Read his thoughts and watch that here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-22759482
