Many new technologies are unpopular at first, or controversial, or have a "fashion cost" to them. I discuss why that all doesn't matter here.

Al Gore tweeted that he is outraged.

I remember going to the White House back when it was occupied by George Bush and it was clear that the government was gonna do a lot of stuff to knock down terrorism that would infringe on our freedoms. This is more proof.

I feel mixed about this. I hate that our government is doing this but I do appreciate it when they stop attacks.

Google Glass session at LeWeb. I was mobbed after the session yesterday by people wanting to try it out. Thanks Loic Le Meur and Geraldine LeMeur and team for yet another awesome event.

At Rackspace Hosting we can't wait to see what developers do next and would love to help developers build apps for Glass. Based on what I saw this week there will be quite a few coming from London-based developers.
