Crap Jeffrey McManus was one of our favorite speakers in the 1990s when my wife and I helped run VBITS. Great guy, with a great sense of humor. He will definitely be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of my good friend Jeffrey McManus. He and I shared many stages together during his time at eBay, and often joked that we could exchange presentations and do just as good of a job.
After he left eBay we stayed in touch as he explored his entrepreneurial side. We had lunch in SF a year or two ago and I never would have thought that it would be our final time together.
RIP, my good friend, you will be missed.

Every day I pinch myself that Rackspace Hosting pays me to meet innovators who are building the future like this. I can't think of many jobs that are better in corporate life.
Yesterday I mostly caught up on my email and while there are a lot of lame ideas getting pitched there are plenty who are doing really crazy things to push the future forward.
