Why are the logins to so many startups' websites tied to your facebook account?
Answer (1 of 2): Because it's easy to set up and easy for users to create accounts. Also, if I have you log in through an app that I've created, I can harvest any data you knowingly, or unknowingly, give me access to - contact info, friend information, etc.
