Robert Scoble - Google+ - Finally a business book with something new to say …
This book, about what the author Scott Berkun learned by working for Matt Mullenweg, founder of Automattic, the folks behind WordPress.com, is really great. Finally a business book that has something new to say about the future of work.
I hope the book Shel Israel and I are writing will come even close to as nice a read as this one is.

Robert Scoble - Google+ - Lifelogging visionary tries on Google Glass This is…
The guy who started the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA? (You really should visit!)
That's Gordon Bell who now works for Microsoft Research.
I got to put Google Glass on him for the first time, great experience for me. Really thrilling to meet the pioneers who made everything we do possible.
Why is this photo significant? Because Gordon has been doing lifelogging for longer than anyone I'm aware of (he was wearing a camera when I last saw him when I worked at Microsoft in 2003-2006).
His vision of having everyone wearing cameras is coming to fruition thanks to not just Google Glass, but also a raft of startups like Epiphany Eyewear and Memoto.

Robert Scoble - Google+ - SmugMug is one crazy photo company Today I had a busy day.…
Photographers: SmugMug is announcing something pretty significant for you next week. I dropped by today unexpectedly and shot a bunch of photos on Glass of them. SmugMug's culture is still my favorite of all the smaller Silicon Valley companies (it now has a little more than 100 employees).
Great day in Silicon Valley today. Dave McClure is hosting 500 Startups demo day tonight. So is blackbox.vc. So many new startups, not enough time! Good thing we have a Flipboard magazine about all of those.
Check out our startup magazine at: https://flipboard.com/section/startup-news-b9hf0Q (it's now on the web, which is really cool). Thanks Mike McCue and Hillel Fuld for helping with that, you've kept it fresh and interesting while I was goofing off the past two weeks.

The new Chromecast is only $35? Wow. Apple TV just became a LOT less interesting! Google isn't playing around. This is a BIG deal. As Drew Olanoff just said "boom!"

Live from Google's 'breakfast with Sundar Pichai' event - The Verge
OK, the new Google Chromecast looks pretty damn cool. It plugs in an HDMI port and gives you ability to stream video from your Android-based devices.
By the way, The Verge is just rocking at covering these kinds of live events.
